Dominic Jimenez

Dominic Miguel Jimenez is an intelligent eleventh-grade student of Hispanic and African American descent that currently resides in the Commonwealth of Virginia with his parents and two siblings.
Whether gaming, participating in Boy Scout activities, helping out with Ecology Club, or officiating soccer games, Dominic is usually a pretty active guy in the community. 

He joined the WSHS Black Student Union fall 2019 out of curiosity, and a desire to make connections with his cultural peers. Past discussions with fellow BSU members, coupled with the turbulent political climate, increased his aspirations to promote cultural awareness and acceptance.

Dominic is a peaceful guy who only wants everyone to get along, learn from the past, and build a better future. He believes ”If everyone in the world loves each other as their brother and sister, and treats them as so, then all the world’s problems will be solved.” He feels this way of thinking would eliminate the hatred or fear when approaching someone that might be different from the rest, and that this in turn would lead to all of the countries in the world working together for the greater cause of human preservation. Here's hoping.
